I have started yoga almost a year ago with Iir; and I have not only found a wonderful practice but also a friendly space where I can challenge and learn to know myself. Since attending Iir's classes, I feel better in my body and in my mind. I am stronger and more flexible physically but also more at peace with myself than I have ever been! Iir is a fantastic teacher, very supportive and patient for beginners like us. So you are thinking of taking up yoga, just come along and let yourself be surprised - You will not be disappointed!

I took a few classes with Iir the last two weeks on headstand and the dancer pose. I like how her classes all have a theme and the poses practiced are all designed to help you get into that particular pose. Iir's classes are quite interactive and she does go around the room trying to give personal instructions to each student. The regulars in her classes are very helpful, too! Honestly, I was able to get into headstand at home on my own after two of her headstand classes, she taught it clearly on what muscles to use and how exactly to do it. So I would say her classes are quite interesting and challenging, it's quite fun too and I would keep going to her classes.

Even though I've only taken yoga classes with Iir for a short time, I learnt a lot from her and she's helped me improve a lot. Iir's classes are very focused: she picks a monthly theme which all the classes revolve around. This way, she can go a lot more in-depth about the technique involved in each posture. Furthermore, it's a great way to improve fast in a specific skill. My backbends have gotten a lot better during Iir's backbend-themed classes! Also, Iir's classes are quite small, which ensures you get plenty of personal attention and she's well aware of where you are with each posture. I personally think this is a much safer way of practising yoga than in other classes I've taken where the teachers don't know their students' bodies as well. All in all, I can heartily recommend Iir's classes if you are keen to work on your yoga technique in a very focused, detailed, yet gentle way while taking good care of your body.
