About the Business
My teaching style reflects the classical Hatha yoga, Sivananda, which I have been trained in, whilst taking inspiration from my practice of different styles - including Ashtanga, Iyengar and Skaravelli. We use our breath to anchor us to the present and with every exhale allow our bodies to open further into postures. Whilst some classes are levelled, most are open-level as I truly believe there is a variation for everyone to take part and benefit - whatever your fitness, flexibility or strength.
By exploring asana (postures), pranayama (use of breath), savasana (proper relaxation) and dhyana (meditation) we can reconnect with our bodies, and our feet to the earth that supports us. Hand in hand with this comes a stronger, flexible, resilient body and a happy, confident and peaceful mind. Although the practice can seem challenging at first, the combination of these four points ensure you leave every session more focussed, grounded and happy. Yoga gives us the tools to reach our full potential.
