InnaHarmony is run by Kay Morris and operates within the Dudley and Wolverhampton Borough. Kay is an experienced British Wheel of Yoga teacher, her balanced approach to teaching Yoga has evolved from a thorough understanding of practice and principles of yoga further supported by 20 years experience of teaching holistic massage therapies and management of sports injuries.
Yoga is believed to have a calming effect on the nervous system; balancing the mind body and emotions. It is thought by some practitioners to prevent specific diseases by keeping life energy flowing. Yoga has been used to lower blood pressure, reduce stress and improve co-ordination, flexibility, concentration, sleep and digestion.
Yoga is quite different from other forms of exercise, it is the journey of conscious exploration; the process of listening and remembering how our body responds to various postures and techniques helps us to establish that important relationship with our body.
