About the Business
James first became interested in Yoga whilst travelling in India and Thailand in 2000. Shortly after returning to the UK, he started attending regular classes. Yoga enabled him to connect with a new experience of physical release and mental calm. He began to practise regularly and yoga became a source of refuge, inspiration and strength. He studied with a number of teachers and began making regular trips to India in order to learn about yoga at its source. Whilst studying in India, James completed diplomas in 'Yoga Education' and 'Advanced Yoga Studies.' In the UK, he completed a two year teacher training diploma with the Devon School of yoga. James has been fortunate to study yoga with a number of great teachers including: Doug Swenson, Srivatsa Ramaswami, Duncan Hulin and Vijay Amar. He is currently in the second year of a post-graduate diploma in Yoga Therapy.
