Pregnancy Yoga classes will prepare you for nurturing your unborn child, as well as learning unique tools for birthing. It is certainly not a time for anxiety and fear, although these are often natural emotions for some women during their pregnancy, especially with the first born. Yoga can help dispel any worries. The use of breathing techniques quietens the mind, so learning this and combining it with simple exercises encourages relaxation. This in turn enables you to keep faith with your body's intelligence to follow it's natural instincts, when birthing can become a joyful and fulfilling experience. Margaret teaches Birthlight Pregnancy Yoga to Level 3. 2. Specific, gentle exercises for stretching, strengthening and toning the pelvic and lumbar spine regions.
