About the Business
The heart of my Yoga teaching is to create a space for you to slow down, release tension and find a more natural rhythm that supports your well-being. My focus is to move towards an inner experience of sensing and softening to find greater ease in movement and breath. Many of us have busy stressful lives. You might find that some days your feet barely touch the ground or there's hardly time to catch your breath. As you begin to quieten in your practice you may become aware of habitual ways in which you are using your body and where you are holding tension, and develop some insight into how this is affecting you on many other levels.
Contrary to some misguided popular beliefs Yoga offers much more than a purely physical practice involving strenuous postures and contorting your body into impossible shapes! It is my intention to move away from this pursuit of making perfect shapes and to guide you to listen more to your inner experience.
